Great Trail Horses with Poco Bloodlines Available for Adoption through Horse Haven Montana

By Adoption Application & to Pre-approved Home only, the following horses are now available through Horse Haven Montana:

1. Peppy a Poco sire, Smoothe Image, dam:  This 19-20 year old gelding is 16.1H, 1100 lbs.  Color: Dun with dorsal stripe, zebra stripes on legs, no other markings
Fantastic trail horse -  well bred, trained and healthy, many trail miles, well taken care of, up to date on everything.  Adoption Fee: $500

2. 23 year old buckskin gelding 16H, 1000 lbs.  Excellent trail horse for beginner to advanced rider - anyone can ride, Extensive backcountry & wilderness experience
Sire: Tivios Poco Cutter; Dam:  Cherrie Dee Dee
Adoption Fee: $500 to pre-approved home only

Both of these horses need to be in a pasture setting, not in a small corral or paddock

3. Beautiful, sweet, healthy, well trained trail horse:  19 year old QH mare, 15H, can go and go - trot as smooth as silk.  Beautiful bay with white strip and loves people.  Adoption Fee: $1000

4. Excellent Trail Horse:  QH/Apply Gelding, 15 years old, 15.1H, excellent health, extensive trail miles - LOVES people and will do great with a human he can attach to; suitable for intermediate to experienced rider.  GREAT trail horse.  Adoption Fee: $500

5. For Youth & Beginners:  Two senior geldings who've been there/done that, 4H, kid's horse camp, etc.  14.3H.  Both are on equine senior, beet pulp and probiotics.  Excellent beginner horses. Adoption Fee for each: $400
Need a home where someone is willing to keep them on a special diet.  Wonderful for youth, beginners, etc.  

6. Mustang Pony Mare: 11.3H - beautiful bay with black points - Great in the arena, small jumps, trails, bareback or under saddle.  $2500 firm.  Pre-approved forever home only

There are others for adoption but we did not want to make this list too long.  This includes a green 5 year old sorrel Arabian mare; a 20 year old experienced sorrel Arabian gelding and a 5 year old gentle, Perlino mare who is very quiet and just about anyone can ride – suitable for gentle riding.
