Join The Stampede!

Bozeman , MT —April, 2012— Eagle Mount Bozeman is partnering with local businesses, groups and individuals to create a virtual stampede through Bozeman . The stampede is to raise awareness, educate the public and provide care for Eagle Mount’s therapy horses.

Sola Café, Pub 317, Epicenter Therapy Services, MSU’s SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) Club, Karen Ososki Instructor, Inc., an Eagle Mount participant, and local Chief Joseph Middle School student Campbell Collins, have each taken on the challenge of raising $2,000 to sponsor an Eagle Mount horse. Each business will be creating special activities to allow community members to take part in the stampede. At Sola Café and Epicenter, people can enter a coloring contest. Pub 317 has commissioned local artist Jennifer Lowe-Anker to paint their horse’s portrait in their effort to raise funds for this worthy cause. Jenni’s painting, along with the other posters will be auctioned off at Eagle Mount’s Western Rendezvous on June 9.

Sponsorships are still available and Eagle Mount hopes that the community will saddle up, grab the reins and join in on the stampede. Everyone who sponsors or donates will receive an invitation to meet the horses on July 14th at Eagle Mount. For more information, contact Maggee Harrison at Eagle Mount (406)586-1781 or by email,

Founded in 1982, Eagle Mount’s mission is to provide therapeutic recreation for people with disabilities of all ages and children with cancer. For people living with a disability or cancer, recreation means a lot more than “play time.” Recreational activities offer healing, life-affirming, joyful and satisfying experiences. When people are with Eagle Mount, the focus is always on their abilities. At Eagle Mount, every challenge inspires a new adventure.
