Montana Woman Dog Sled Musher seeks Sponsorships
Dear
Among a select few competitive female mushers; Celeste Davis, a Montana native,
is on a quest to compete in the 2010 Iditarod. To get there she needs your
help. The entry fee alone is $4,000 and the overall cost to train and
compete will cost well over $40,000. We need your help!
Since the Iditarod’s inception in 1973 only a select few females, 114 to be
exact, have competed in the Iditarod, Celeste is the only native
Montana female musher to attempt this journey. It has been called
“The Last Great Race on Earth.” Beginning in Anchorage the first
Saturday in March it traverses the rugged Alaskan Range toward the windblown
Bering Sea Coast while finishing in Nome 1,150 miles later. Due to the large cost Montana Musher relies largely on corporate support to help offset expenses such as dog booties, food, veterinary care, transportation… the list is never ending. Sponsorship
