Hi everyone - if you're thinking of heading on over to Deer Lodge, Montana, on August 26th and 27th, for the Rocky Mountain Breeders Assoc (RMBA) horse show and sale weekend, here are some numbers for motels and also for Stallion Alley reservation and stalls.

On Friday the 26th, there is a full slate of Ranch Horse Competition classes including Stallion Stakes, RMBA, Sales Classic, and the Open show classes. If you've not attended one of these shows yet, they are great fun and offer classes for two year old horses, green horses both Jr & Sr age divisions, advanced level horses where you can either rope or circle the cow (can enter both advanced classes). Don't forget the Novice Rider and the New Youth 13 & Under class. Saturday wraps up with a herd roping class.

On Saturday, the morning starts off at 8:00 a.m. with the horse show classes including halter, pleasure, and trail classes. The classes offer RMBA and Sales Classic classes in addition to the Offspring Incentive Program for offspring that are the result of a breeding purchased through our annual Stallion Service Auction.

Saturday at 11:00 a.m. the sale horses will preview and the sale kicks off at 1:00 p.m. There are vendor booths available and sign-up for Stallion Alley is still happening. Have a sire you'd like people to see? The Stallion Alley is the perfect place to show them off.

The weekend is the best show of the year to promote your breeding programs and showcase your horses in differing classes. For prospective buyers and/or breeders, here's a chance to see stallions and/or their offspring in action!
