Rocky Mountain Breeders Association Stallion Service Auction Online Now!

The Rocky Mountain Breeders Association is a non-profit organization. The majority of membership is an active part of the breeding industry, but we proudly include members who are interested in the showing and promoting of a quality horse. Each year, the RMBA hosts events such as an annual Production, Performance, and Ranch Horse Sale; many Ranch Horse Competitions around Montana ; Stallion Service Auction, which is currently going on; and a variety of educational clinics. You can read all about this growing equine association and our active schedule of events on the website at www.montanarmba.org.

It is that time of year again to plan the best possible mating for our mares at home. Consider the Rocky Mountain Breeders Association (RMBA) Stallion Service Auction line-up.

The 2010 stallion line-up boasts one of the best line-ups ever! Of the many stallions to choose from, there are proven performers and proven sires for ranch horse and weekend event horses, race horses, barrel horse sires, halter and pleasure, and cutting, cowhorse, and roping events. These sires represent the best of the best in pedigrees in today's performance horse world. You may click on each stallion's photo to bring up pedigree, general information, and a write-up about the stallion. Feel free to contact stallion owner/managers for more information.

The Stallion Service Auction is currently open and the first round of bidding will end on February 15, 2010. Choose from 36 Paint, Quarter Horse, and Appaloosa stallions. Any stallion service not selling in the first round of bidding will have the base bid increased by $50.00 and will be available during the second round of bidding which runs from February 16, 2010, through April 1, 2010. All purchases are a binding contract.

More than just breeding your mare to a quality sire, the resultant offspring will be eligible to participate in one of the newer RMBA programs of the Offspring Incentive Program. All foal crops starting at age 3 years will also be eligible to compete for added monies in the Stallion Stakes Ranch Horse classes. It pays to breed to an RMBA Stallion Service Auction sire!

The RMBA Stallion Service Auction provides one of the best opportunities around for breeding to a top notch stallion and is working hard to become the premier Stallion Service Auction in the region. Visit the website at www.montanarmba.org under the "Stallion Service Auction" tab. Or phone Gail Morris at (406) 866-3434 to submit your bid. Don't miss out!
