      Ogden , Utah ’s, Golden Spike Event Center is a multi-function, user-friendly, state-of-the-art complex that is built on 150 acres and consists of first-class separate but adjoining venues. For equestrian events, it offers:

The Golden Spike Arena

      100’ x 180’open-span, indoor, heated arena with seating for 5,845, PA system, restrooms, scoreboard, concession stands, underground stock pens and an alleyway connected to the riding arena.

Outdoor Stadium

      225’ x 125’ outdoor stadium with lights, holding pens and seating for 4,561.

Indoor Heated Auction Arena

      Theater-style bleacher seating for 350 with enclosed attached barn, PA system and restrooms.

Indoor Riding Arena

      Square-footage of 41,000, with a 400-seat, open-span indoor riding arena with 126’ x 235’ arena floor, restrooms and PA system.

Four Barns

      Covered, lighted barns with 546 box stalls, and access to wash racks, water and power.

Indoor Exhibitor Space

      Square footage of 40,000 in the indoor exhibitor space and ample outdoor vendor space.

Race Track & Cross Country Course

      Three-quarter mile oval track with covered grandstand and seating for 2,500. Championship equestrian cross country course.

      The Golden Spike Event Center’s General Manager, Jim Harvey, says, “Our staff is prepared to provide as much assistance as is needed with events — setup, marketing, catering, concessions, ticket sellers, security, medical staffing and parking. ”

      The Event Center hosts many world-class events and it is also home to the largest county fair in Utah .

      Annual equestrian events held at the Golden Spike Event Center include the World Cutter and Chariot Championships, NCHA Western National Championships, PRCA Wilderness Circuit Rodeo Finals, Heritage Classic Horse Show, and many more.
