The University
of Montana Western will host its Ninth
Annual Hunter/Jumper Horse Show
September 16-18, 2011 at J & S Sport Horses Arena, 350 Gamblers Run, in
Dillon, Montana. The event is sanctioned by the U.S. Equestrian Federation, the
United States Hunter Jumper Association and the American Paint Horse
Association. It will be a fund-raising benefit for the UM Western
Intercollegiate Horse Show Assn. (IHSA) Equestrian Team.
The
show will feature championship-level competition for riders throughout the Rocky
Mountain West, as well as the Medal Ride-Offs for the 2-foot, 3-inch Pony
Huntseat Equitation Division; the 2-foot, 6-inch Junior/Amateur Huntseat
Equitation Division; and the 3-foot Open Huntseat Equitation Division. The show
will also feature the 2-foot, 9-inch Governors Cup Hunter Division and the
Ester Mooney Memorial 2-foot Short Stirrup Division. Admission will be free. The
