Horse trainer and clinician Bryan Neubert was raised on a ranch in
In his teens, Neubert began working for his neighbor, horseman Bill
Dorrance (author of “True Horsemanship Through Feel”), who taught Neubert
how to start colts and braid rawhide into reatas, hackamores and other fine
works of craftsmanship. Later, he studied with Tom Dorrance, Bill’s brother,
and Ray Hunt, both masters of horse psychology. These men made a lasting
impression and formed Neubert’s stressless approach to handling all types of
horses.

as a cowboss on traditional buckaroo ranches in
In 1992, Neubert became an independent horse trainer full time. He now
conducts clinics across the
Neubert conducts three- to five-day clinics on colt starting,
horsemanship, cow working. or a combination of all three. He begins with the
basics at a slow and steady pace, while maintaining a running commentary and
telling stories about his cowboy days and mentors. Progress is made at each
horse’s rate of learning.
