   The 25th Annual Hillman–Lynn Quarter Horse Production Sale was held August 22, 2009, at the auction yard in Idaho Falls , ID. Over 300 people from ID, MT, UT, WA and WY registered to bid. The sale offered weanlings, yearlings, broodmares, started two-year-olds, and broke older geldings. Gale Harding was auctioneer on a fair weather day.

    The high-selling horse was JBAR Cuatro Kyd, a 2005 AQHA gray gelding consigned by Jared and Trish Dalling of Hamer, ID. Sired by Watch Me Go Kyd by Pats Triangle Kyd and out of a Tee J Jack Steel and Mr San Cuatro-bred mare, this tough gelding could handle all ranch work from roping, doctoring, branding, and sorting, plus had been headed and heeled on. He sold to a buyer from Idaho for $7,200.

    The second high-selling horse was Skips Classic Son a 1996 AQHA buckskin gelding consigned by Burke and Taleesha Hillman of Hamer, ID. He was sired by Classic Reward by Son O Skip and out of a Goldseeker Bars granddaughter. He had been ridden on the ranch and in the mountains, and was suited for most any rider. He sold to a buyer from Idaho for $5,000. 

Second high-selling horse was Skips Classic Son. He sold for $5,000.

 

    The high-selling weanling was HQH Top Gun, an AQHA buckskin stallion consigned by Nick and Jackie Hillman, Hillman Quarter Horses of Hamer, ID. He was sired by one of Hillmans nine stallions —Wolf Creek Joes Song by Mr Joes Song, and out of a Pats Triangle Kyd daughter. He was purchased by a Utah buyer for $3,200. 

High-selling weanling was HQH Top Gun, an AQHA buckskin stallion. He sold for $3,200.

 

    The high-selling yearling was HQH Tazer Kyd, an AQHA buckskin gelding consigned by Burke and Taleesha Hillman. Sired by HQH Kydnapped and out of a Watch Thirsty Joe daughter, he sold for $2,200.
