Coreen Kelly, Equine Massage Therapy Instructor and owner of the Western Montana School of Equine Massage,
has announced her 2012 Class schedule.
Coreen is a Certified Professional Massage Therapist and a graduate of
Equissage School of Equine Massage in
Virginia
,
Beijing
Massage
Hospital
(a school for the vision-impaired), and is a Reiki Master Teacher. She has used
her expertise to both practice and teach equine massage since 1995, when her
failing eyesight began to rapidly dimish, making her legally blind.
Coreen grew up with horses, and had shown in Western Pleasure, Halter,
and Reining. She has been working with her AQHA mare to build a finished bridle
horse in the traditional vaquero style of horsemanship.
This year’s classes are:
Level 1: 7-Day Certified Equine
Massage Course; Anatomy/physiology; In-hand
Natural Horsemanship; Traditional Chinese Philosophy; Sedative Swedish Massage;
Stimulationg Sports Massage; Rhythmic Muscle Pulsing; Hands-on Healing; and
Business start-up. Eight 6-day classes begin March 18 and continue through
October 26.
Level 11: Equine Reiki Acupressure;
a 50-hour course scheduled upon request.
Reiki Meridians, Acupoints,
Intuitional Development, Energy Fields, Anatomy and Physiology.
Level 111: 5-Day Certified Course
in Equine Reiki Immersion (Advanced Reiki Techniques) –
Scheduled upon request, Level 1 & Level 11 courses are prerequisites.
Also offered are courses in Anatomy/Physiology, Equine Kinesiology,
Equine First Aid, a Home Study course, and a Refresher/Retreat for prior
students.
